My name is John Carey and this is my hub for my internet activity. Fiftyfootshadows is primarily used as a front to share photograph based desktop wallpaper imagery that I create for people in need of an alternative to the endless supply of overly elaborate designer desktops filling the internet. I love photography and in my desire to share it with the world I started to offer my photos as desktop imagery nearly five years ago with my previous personal project, twistedsun.net and since then it has grown into what you see today.
